Nikitopoulos Collection is comprised of a large collection of photographs, newspaper clippings, various forms of media, and notes and programs related to prominent Greek-American people, organizations, and events in Lowell. Being a community collection rather than a personal collection, the bulk of the collection is photographs, which cover a wide range of dates and Greek families from the area. The collection also contains a large number of documents related to the Lowell Housing Authority’s urban renewal project, as well as licenses given to Greek coffee houses in Lowell.
